Former library director Rhea Young has been spotted lurking around the county libraries, where she was recently dismissed from her position by the commissioner’s court late last month. She has been going from library to library and has been seen speaking with staff or often sitting and staring at nearby librarians making them feel uncomfortable. What is going on here? Is this another effort to get her job back or is this an intimidation tactic?
“Patrons are confused,” says one librarian, “because she is wearing her library shirts as if she still works here. We don’t know what to do.”
