We have a WIN! PRAISE GOD!

Christian books in the library AND how we can get Brave Books in.

I recently heard from the library director who included a really nice list of Christian books available, on order, and recently added to The Montgomery County Library System. I was able to confirm on the website each one and where it was being placed. I am SO EXCITED to announce that I counted SIXTY-ONE Christian books recently placed or soon to be placed on our shelves. Thank you to our Library Director Rhea Young and Judge Keough for your support! Both of us, the two moms, cannot express how thankful we are for this incredible list of books. We can’t wait to check each one out and share them with our families. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again!

(Edit to make clear: These books are children’s books to be placed in the children’s section of the library where Christian books have been underrepresented.)

Before I share this list with all of you, I wanted to explain what we have learned about how we can get Brave Books into our libraries. Our Library Director, Rhea Young, has indicated that she would GLADLY place Brave Books into our libraries if they are donated. Unfortunately, it is not possible for the library purchase them directly. There is quite a bit of red tape and policies that prevent this. Therefore, crowdfunding seems to be our best option. We are going to be working behind the scenes this week and next to figure out the logistics to make this happen. Please be on the lookout as the substack post with this information is coming soon!
