Lost in Trans Nation is a recently published book with the newest information and studies regarding gender transition in children. Dr. Grossman, a child psychiatrist, digs into how these new treatments and recommendations have filtered into the medical industry, and she digs into the “why” of the little-to-no push back from concerned medical professionals.
Dr. Grossman has unique insight to guide parents in the legal and emotional battles they may face, while validating their grief as they lose their child to an ideology that asks for everything in total devotion. Take heart parents, Dr. Grossman gives you the tools you need. There is no magic, foolproof formula to be sure, but she gives direction that comes from the wisdom from working with parents in her practice.

This is another incredible win for balance in the gender issue at our libraries. There is a deluge of books being published and placed in our libraries in support of transitioning young children without the science to back it up. The only balance brought to the adult books has been from donations from Steve Toth. His previous donation was Irreversible Damage by Abigail Shrier, which can now be found in every library.
